Chris Nathan is the Nashville based Buffalo, NY born, full package of incredible vocal range, superior songwriting and the ability to reach any audience. 

 

Grabbing tasteful influences from artist's like; Dave Matthews Band, John Legend, Sam Cooke, Richie Havens and Jason Mraz, Chris really spells, diversity. 

 

Coming off his debut album "Words" and follow up live acoustic album "So'fully Yours," Chris spent the summer of 2010, writing and recording his anticipated Sugarcane EP all while heavily touring across the east coast and opening act for his friend Kris Allen (American Idol 8). 

 

His aforementioned Sugarcane EP contains the title track that has been released to iTunes as a single and has gotten great feedback across the world like this, "Sugarcane by Chris Nathan has really nice soul roots and reminds me a little of Jamie Lidell." says The Mahogany Blog UK Publication. Two times, Chris's song "Happy" (Words) was released as Song and Artist of the week on Nashville's premiere radio station Lightning 100. 

 

In November 2010 Chris Nathan started his own company, Sugarcane Entertainment LLC, launching a new step in his artistry and devotion to his business and life. Currently, Chris Nathan videos are virally spreading across sites like Youtube.com and Facebook that include fan favorites like "Sugarcane," "Someone I Used to Know" and guest vocal appearance with Kris Allen on an Oasis' staple, "Don't Look Back in Anger." 

 

Recently Chris licensed five songs with MTV/HYPE and since, has had major commercial success across the world. Featured in Norway's top 

television comedy station, TV Norge. Including many US features: Arrow, The Real World, The Challenge etc. 

 

Currently Chris is embarking on a new journey with a new record on the way that plans to deliver the most dynamic experience he's ever given in the studio. "I plan on making this record like it's my last record ever, and I'm going to go forward with that attitude for the rest of my life."
